Mayme I. Lewis of Bridgeton, formerly of Arcadia, passed away February 20, 2005 in Creve Couer at the age of 87.
She was born January 15, 1918 in Arcadia, to William and Ruth (Boswell) Pratt.
On March 21, 1939 she was united in marriage to Otis Lewis who preceded her in death on October 9, 1999. To this union three children were born: Phillip Otis Lewis of St. Ann, Larry Del Lewis of Kansas City and Marilyn Elizabeth Lombardi of Bridgeton. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Lewis Pratt of Ironton and William Pratt of Glover, four sisters, Marion Clinard and Ada May Sherrill both of Ironton, Martha Harrison of Arcadia and Marjorie Swafford of Hillsboro, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mayme was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pratt and four sisters, Nettie Kreis, Wilma Coad, Ellen Thomlinson, and Lucille Markham.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 23, at 11 am from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev David Johnson and Rev. Bill Carlin officating.
Interment will be in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bryson Funeral Home.
