- Nona B. Haege, 88, of Troy, Ill., formerly of Keyesport, Ill., and East St. Louis, Ill., born Aug. 15, 1924, in Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at her residence.
Nona worked for 20 years at Switzer Licorice Company, St. Louis, Mo. She was a member of the Teamsters Local 688 and the Red Hat Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor H. Haege; a son, Victor R. Haege Jr.; her parents, William and Frances, nee St. John, Scheppelman; a granddaughter, Melody Joy West; and three brothers.
Surviving are her children, Darlene Lunsford of Troy, Ill., Marlene (Ted) Albert of Cahokia, Ill., Lydia (John) Mueller of Troy, Ill., and Patricia Cummins of Huntsville, Ala.; nine grandchildren, Denise (Gary) Glaser of Edwardsville, Ill., Jimmie Wallace of Belleville, Ill., David Hurst of Cahokia, Ill., Lisa (Robert) Loughmiller of St. Louis, Mo., Angela Poole of Belleville, Ill., Brian (Carmen) York of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Bradley York of Montrose, Colo., Chrishtan (John) Glenn of Dallas, Texas and Cory Ricci of Birmingham, Ala.; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, Ill. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
