- Betty Jane Ryan, 73, of Festus died March 6, 2010, in Festus. Mrs. Ryan was a homemaker. Born May 31, 1934, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nina (Cope) Mueller. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Murf" Ryan.
She is survived by six children: Cynthia Barton, William J. (Tracy) Ryan Jr., Terry (Laura) Ryan, Debra (Marvin) Vineyard, Murphy (Theresa) Ryan and Michael (Cathy) Ryan; three siblings: Edward Mueller, JoAnn Mueller and John Mueller; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Mueller.
Funeral services were to be held March 10 at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes in St. Louis County.
