Kathleen S. Keathley, age 82, of Centennial, Colo. died Feb. 1.

Mrs. Keathley was born July 29, 1921 in Lott, to Ira and Irmine Hayes Stephens. She married Marshall W. Keathley on Oct. 15, 1943 in Mineral Wells. She grew up in Dallas where she received her bachelor's from Southern Methodist University. In 1943, she received her master's in geology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was a geologist with Standard Oil Company of Texas and Lone Star Producing Company in Midland. She was with Sun Oil Company and Republic Natural Gas in Dallas. While living in Midland, she taught night courses in petroleum geology at Odessa College.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ken Stephens.
Arrangements were under the direction of Stark Family Mortuary in Lakewood, Colo.
