JOHN W. CHEAKALOS (Age 90)
Of Potomac, MD passed away peacefully on February 14, 2013. He was preceded in death by his sister, Demetra Nomikos. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Cheakalos, adoring children Irene (Ernie) Koutras, William (Janine) Cheakalos, James (Betsy) Cheakalos and six cherished grandchildren: Louis, Alexander, Peter, John, Samantha and Stephanie. He is also survived by a devoted sister Helene Angelos and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at HINES-RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Trisagion Services at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 15100 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD.
