- RAGLAND, Edith Drumheller, 93, widow of Gerald Forest Ragland, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Born in Nelson County, Va., she was a longtime resident of Nottoway County. A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her children, Gerald Forest Ragland Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Linda Regenhardt of Chevy Chase, Md., Nancy Thomas of Ridgely, Md. and Cindy Ragland of Athens, Ga.; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Mrs. Ragland was a member of Crewe Baptist Church, Ladies Auxiliaries of the Crewe, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Nottoway County Emergency Squad. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Crewe Baptist Church. Interment will follow at TrinityMemorial Gardens in Rice. The Family will receive friends Friday, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home, 200 W. Carolina Ave., Crewe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Nottoway County Emergency Squad, P.
