My Elizabeth was born October 21st 1877, her godparents were my brother Phillip Leonard and his wife Anna Maria. Hand written: Jacob Leonard, as above, was born 11-16-1758, died 1-27-1835. He was an Elder in Leonard's Reformed Church, often a delegate to Classis (sp?). The record of the baptism of his children is not complete, though the children were all baptized. Jacob Leonard Jr., son of Jacob Leonard Sr., and his wife (Elizabeth Shoaf, was born 2-20-1789 and died 11-17-1845, aged 56 years, 8 months and 27 days. On his tombstone it's stated: "He was baptized in his infancy. His sponsors were Philip Sowers and his wife. Also Elder in same church.
