Mrs. Elmer (Annie Ruth) Ginter, 76 years old, of Sikeston, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 1984, in the Sells Rest Home at Matthews following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 31, 1907, at Pocahontas, the daughter of Amos and Alpha Clodfelter Trickey. She had worked as a sewing machine operator at International Shoe Company until her retirement. In 1928 she married Joe Ben Tucker at Jackson. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1935. On Oct. 11, 1943 at Benton, she married Elmer Ginter, who survives of the home. Also surviving are a son, William L. Tucker, Carrollton, Texas; a daughter, Miss Cheryl Ginter, Sikeston; one sister, Mrs. Ettie Graff, Perryville; four grandsons, and two great-granddaughters. Three sisters preceded her in death.Friends may call at the Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston between 5 and 9 p.m. Saturday and until the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Sunday. Service will be held at the funeral home, with the Rev. Glen Bohannon, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sikeston, officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
