Billye Louise Prather, age 58, of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:20 PM, Friday, March 5, 2021 at her residence.
Billye was born on May 19, 1962 to the late Dolores Pitts. On December 10, 1987, Billye married Steve Prather, and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1992.
Billye was a loving mother and grandmother.
Billye is survived by her daughter, Shauna and husband, Joseph of Galatia; sister, Brenda of Harrisburg; brother-in-law, Garvin of Harrisburg; two grandchildren; niece; three nephews; four great nieces and 2 great nephews.
Billye was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Prather; mother, Dolores Scheppelman; and sister, Nancy Cummins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 2 PM at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Burial will follow in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 2 PM at Reed Funeral Chapel.
