OBITUARY
J.A. PATTERSON OF ANNAPOLIS DIES IN HOSPITAL
Funeral service was held at the Assembly of God Church, Vulcan, Mo., Saturday, March 2, at 2:30 pm for J.A. Patterson who died February 27.
Soloist for the service was Rev. Junior Casteel; Duet, Rev. and Sister Ronald Garner, pianist Mrs. Arleen Casteel.
The Rev. Ronald Garner was the officiating minister.
Pallbearers were Lowell Patterson, Denny Patterson, Houston Patterson, Ernest Baker, Jaies Funk, Vernon Sutton, George Hay and Herb Air.
Interient was in Sutton Cemetery, arrangments by Gish-Bowles and Coder Piedmont Chapel.
James Alfred Patterson, the son of Andrew Whitman and Cora Elizabeth Hay Patterson, was born in Reynolds County, Missouri, November 6, 190S, and departed this life in the Arcadia Valley Hospital in Ironton, Missouri on
February 27, 1974, at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 18 days.
On September 11, 1929, he was united in marriage to Hazel Ellen Ruble of Annapolis.
Three sons, James E. Patterson of Vulcan, Mo., Robert H. Patterson of Des Arc, Gary D. Patterson of Annapolis; two daughters, Hrs. Charlotte L. Middleton of Vulcan, Mo., Mrs. Patricia Ann Stevenson of Piedmont; 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and one brother, Marvin Patterson of Flat River, Mo. and a host of other relatives and friends.
One child, one brother and two grandchildren preceded Hr. Patterson in death.
