- Minerva King Patch, 98, widow of Major General Joseph Dorst Patch, U. S. A. Retired, died July 27, 1990. General and Mrs. Patch were the parents of three sons. She is survived by one son, Maj. Gen William A. Patch, U.S.A. Ret. of Potomac, Maryland; five grandchildren, Charlotte Patch, K. B. Austin, Richard King Patch, Jr., Alexander M. Patch, and Robert D. Patch, and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Patch was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard King II of La Puerta De Agua Dulce Ranch in Agua Dulce, Texas. Her paternal grandparents were Capt. and Mrs. Richard King of Santa Gertrudes Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. Funeral services were be conducted 3 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Good Shephers with Rev. Charles Dobbins officiating. Burial to follow at Seaside Memorial Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd or to the donor's choice.
