The will of Adam McNeely made while in perfect health on December 4, 1828:.
Lattice (wife) to live on the plantation upon which I now live.
Sons:.
David: Where he lives.
John: Where he lives.
James: Where he lives.
Ezekiel: the Neils land next to my son James.
Hezekiah: plantation where I live.
Grandson: Adam Albert.
Executors: David and John McNeely.
Witnesses: David Kilpatrick and Jabis N. Kilpatrick
- Lattice McNeely Will:
In the name of God amen. The fourteenth day of July one
thousand eight hundred and forty one. I Lattice McNeely of Iredell County in the State of North Carolina in health sound in mind and memory in do make this my Last Will and Testament in the following manner.
I GAVE and bequeath to my son DAVID ten Dollars and his daughter LATTICE one bed and furniture.
I GIVE and bequeath to my Son JOHN my Girl Fanny and one hundred Dollars with the expectation of him take care of
and my property and to his Daughter Nancy my bed and furniture and my Small Cornwood and TO POLLY his daughter my tin trunk.
I GIVE and bequeath to my son JAMES ten Dollars and his Daughter LATTICE one bed and furniture.
I GIVE and bequeath to my son EZEKIAL ten Dollars.
I GIVE and bequeath to my son HEZEKIAH ten Dollars and his
Daughter NANCY one bed and furniture and my large Commode.
The remainder of my property to be equally divided between my Children David, John James, Ezekial and Hezekiah.
I ordain and appoint my son JOHN Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and discharging all other wills and testaments.
