Mrs. Shelby J. Chilton passed away Wednesday morning, January 6, 2010, at The Jefferson Regional Medical Center, in Crystal City, Missouri, at the age of 72 years and 20 days.
Shelby was born on December 16, 1937, in Leadington, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Clinton E. Bible and Emma Jewell 'Nichols' Bible.
Also preceding in death was 1 son, Rodney Eugene Chilton.
Shelby was united in marriage to David E. Chilton on June 12, 1954, in Leadington.
Survivors Include : her husband, David E. Chilton, of DeSoto; 2 Daughters: Sheryl Ann Agers, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; & Tamara Kay Johnson, of Ventura, CA. 2 Sons: Steven Wayne (& Sandra) Chilton, of Festus & Gregory Scott (& Michelle) Chilton, of DeSoto. 3 Sisters: Jo Ann Kennon, of Longmont, CO; Joyce 'Mrs. Jim' Patt, of Witton, Ark & Rosalie 'Mrs. Harold' Patt, of Ashdown, Ark.
Also surviving are 7 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation : Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Friday at 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Friday, 1:00 p.m., January 8, 2010
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Brother Bob Thebeau officiating.
Interment : follows at Parkview Cemetery, Farmington.
Memorials to : Jefferson Regional Hospice.
