Jim Byrd of Hot Springs, Arkansas gave me information via a phone conversation in 1988 " The first husband of Nancy E. Reynolds was Jake Dofamore who was killed by the Indians. One day Jake went to round up horses and never came back.
Peter Lewis was a good friend of theirs and he went looking for Jake. Peter found out that the Indians had killed Jake. Jake Dofamore and the son of Jake and Nancy are buried in unmarked graves at Trickham, Texas."
I have not been able to verify this information, and I have not found the Surname "Dofamore" and if true I believe it is may be misspelled.
Family information from 2 different sources state that Nancy Reynolds was the sister of TD/Teedie Reynolds that married Peter Lewis's sister, Amanda Lewis. (ie. brother and sister marrying brother and sister)
