    Preceded in death by: His parents; a brother, George Ketcherside; his wife, Betty (Durbin) Ketcherside; and two sons, Paul H. Ketcherside Jr. and Kevin Ketcherside. Mr. Durbin proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy in World War II, from July 1944 to March 1946, aboard the U.S.S. Dawson and was awarded the Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. He also later received the State of Missouri World War II Service Medal. He was a lifetime member of the Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post 5896 of Farmington. He retired from the Hannah Mining Company.

    Obituary

    George Raymond Ketcherside, of Farmington was born July 27, 1930 in Flat River and passed away December 8, 1980 at Mineral Area Hospital.

    He is the son of the late Winford and his mother, Fern Parkin Ketcherside of Farmington, who survives. He is also survived by one brother, Paul H. Ketcherside, of Farmington.

    Funeral services were conducted Dec. 11, 1980 at 2 p.m. at the Cozean Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Cowen officiating. Interment was in Parkwiew Cemetery under direction of Cozean Funeral Home.
