A fourth-generation native of Watsonville, Mr. Bloom was a lifelong resident of the Pajaro Valley. He attended local schools and graduated from Watsonville High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in the 91st Military Police Battalion, 560th Company. Mr. Bloom worked for Pacific Telephone Co. for 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion, SIRS, the 65+ Club and the Senior Circle.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 54 years, Marguerite of Watsonville; daughter Lauran Bloom Rinck of San Carlos; and numerous nieces and nephews.
